The Holocaust Museum in Riga opened its doors in 2010. In the outer courtyard, there are some panels showing the photographic documentation of the houses belonging to the city’s ghetto in the years 1941-1943. They remained intact after the conflict and are still used as private homes today. Exposed to bad weather, sun and rain, the photographs have been ruined over time.
Project carried out in collaboration with the Holocaust Museum in Riga and ISSP, the platform for contemporary photography in Riga.
