Description
THE EGGSCAPE is the absurd yet true story of a Bronze Age statuette illegally unearthed from an archaeological site and moved to someone’s window sill. The artefact’s voice guides us through its history and what it sees from its new home, the relationships it develops with the person, the passersby, the plants, and the animals around. This site-specific installation brings together props and weird things found in the gym hall to create a dialogue with poems and images taken on Sardinia, the Italian island that inspired the narrative.
